"Special Achievement Award" for the Ensemble Esperanza

On January, the 19th, 2017, the jury of the International Classic Music Award (ICMA) announced that this years prize in the category „Special Achievement Award“ has been granted to the young Ensemble Esperanza. The jury, consisting of 16 internationally renowned experts of leading journals based in 14 countries, awarded the prize to the Ensemble which was founded only in winter 2015. On April, the 1st, 2017, the Ensemble Esperanza will receive the award and demonstrate its musical expertise in the Great Hall of the Gewandhaus, Leipzig, under the leadership of concert master Chouchane Siranossian. As announced by the jury, it is this young french concert master that will likewise be awarded an ICMA prize for her CD „L’ange et le diable“ in the category „Baroque Instrumental“ – Congratulations!
