Plenty of enthusiasm for challenges ahead

27. October 2017

During the successful debut of the VADUZ CLASSIC Festival in August this year our artists took advantage of the opportunity and persuaded the audience of their qualities. The performances with the world-famous stars Anne-Sophie Mutter and David Garrett remain unforgotten. The consistently positive feedback and the sheer joy of high level artistic creation made for an enthusiastic start of the second half of 2017 with all its challenges and projects.

At the festive opening concert of the 5th musical encounters „MusicConnects“ in Bad Ragaz (12th – 14th of October 2017) our Ensemble Esperanza masterly accompanied the world-class flutist Maurice Steger. A true delight got the audience on day 2 of the festival. The excellent interplay of concert-master Chouchane Siranossian with the flutist-virtuoso inspired the audience and on day 3 the festival found a great end with our musicians playing the final chords in the closing concert.

This was followed by a gathering in Schwarzenberg, Vorarlberg, where the „Esperanzas“ in full attendance started with the studio-recordings of their second album. After the success of the „Nordic Suites“, the new album is dedicated to the South. On the 19th of October then our musicians played for a good cause in the Angelika-Kauffmann-Saal in Schwarzenberg. The revenues of this charity concert entirely benefited the social initiative of the VN (Vorarlberger Nachrichten). Main focus of the stay in the Bregenzerwald was of musical nature however there was a very special feature awaiting our artists – internationally renowned danish music photographer Nikolaj Lund provided professional images for the new album. On the 20th of October 2017 our Ensemble Esperanza gave a concert at the Katharina-Lins-Hall in the premises of the sisters of charity in Zams, Tyrol, offering first class entertainment with works of Schumann and Rota.
