Following the successful opening festival in summer 2017, the second edition of Vaduz Classic started under the theme „Liechtenstein sings“. In the „Vaduzer Saal“our young and international artists together with the Symphony Orchestra Liechtenstein, the Orchestra Liechtenstein-Werdenberg, the students of the Liechtenstein Music School and the scholarship-holders of the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein guaranteed for a passionate concert-evening full of musical highlights...and were greeted with tumultuous applause.
Our Ensemble Esperanza found itself at the centre of attention of a large audience during the final-day`s matinée-concert on stage of the „Vaduzer Rathaussaal“. Compelling and full of vigour the Esperanzas devoted themselves among others to the works of Antonio Vivaldi and Ástor Piazzolla, thereby making the audience feel the charms of the four seasons. With the performance of selected pieces our artists also offered a foretaste of their third studio-album whose recording is planned for the upcoming autumn.
Integrated into the Symphony Orchestra Liechtenstein and under the leadership of Guerassim Voronkov, the Ensemble Esperanza also performed at the crowning closing-concert together with the international star soloists Rolando Villazón and Louise Alder. The all around successful performances within the framework of the second edition of the Festival Vaduz Classic truly made hunger for the Ensemble Esperanza`s „Mini-Festival“ in the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg in October this year!
